RESEARCH & PRACTICAL GUIDANCE

01

How to use the tools

Each checklist is an educational planning aid, available as a bilingual web page. Check items during a session and use your browser’s print function for a working copy. These pages do not constitute an approved protocol or certification.

02

Select the checklist for the stage

Use protocol planning at the start, literature searching when building sources, appraisal when reading studies, validation planning for performance research and data management before collection. AI review, publication readiness and collaboration scoping address distinct later or cross-cutting decisions. A checklist is strongest when linked to a real research question.

03

A checked box needs supporting evidence

Mark an item only when the project has the relevant record or decision. If an item is not applicable, note why in your project file. A high completion count does not prove that the methods are scientifically sound. The tool is intended to prompt discussion and documentation, not to grade or certify a project.

  • Prepare your project question and records
  • Work through the relevant checklist
  • Document unresolved items and responsible roles
  • Review the working copy before moving ahead
04

Session and printing behavior

Selections are kept during the current page session and can be reset. The print option opens the browser’s print dialog for a working copy. The site does not save a project file or issue a certificate from your selections. Retain any printed copy with your own project records and appropriate data controls.
